Suggestions for new features

Hi all,

While working with WonderCMS, I realized a few things that were missing for my needs and I thought, why not mention it here?

- First, in the menu section it would be great to be able to choose both a URL slug and a different page title for the slug. Sometimes I like a slug to be short, but have a different page title. To circumvent this, I had to hardcode the menu in my theme.php file, but it needs to be changed manually every time I modify the menu.
- In the "files" section, make it so that we can create subfolders and be able to view the uploaded files.
- Why not add a photo gallery feature too. Handling uploads / attachments more accurately to be able to select photos to integrate on a page.
- In the summernote editor, we can only add an image if we upload it, but not select from existing uploads which is not very convenient.

When my son works with the site, he copies and pastes pictures through a graphic editor, you don’t have to provide a link, you can just copy the picture, or open it on your computer, cut out the desired part (I use infanview) and paste it onto your site. this works too. Regarding renaming pages - this is not so relevant, since you can recreate the page and rename it, and the content will be the same. just cut, copy, create a new page - paste, delete the old page. all the work.

I'm not sure you understand what I'm talking about here.
Renaming a page and renaming the page's URL slug is not the same thing. It has nothing to do with duplicating pages.

I would like for the admin modal to not be closed each time you make a change. For example: 1: install a theme, 2: click on settings again, 3: activate theme theme. Also, if creating a page, don't place it as hidden by default? Instead, make that optional during the creation?

You’re right, the settings modal closing after any action is annoying.

I've just been going through a process that involved a lot of editing page titles and descriptions and am another that would like to be able to make several alterations before being returned to a re-opened modal.

Same thing with the notices; the could be displayed once and then automatically removed after a pre defined time frame while being available for later read as a separate section in the settings modal.

No disrespect, but there are several things I would change to make it more user friendly.

Having received no comment from the developer, I hope WonderCMS is still maintained. It's a great little cms that works great for simple sites, but it still needs polishing to make it very user-friendly and "competitive" next to other flat-file cms's.

just try to copy image from paintbrush, for example. draw something, copy and paste. it works. no need to use ftp or imgur, etc. u just use copy paste tool from browser, and paint like progs. i use PS2003
