[SOLVED] Can't run wondercms on local by using xampp on macos please help

Hello,I have a question about how to run wondercms on local by using xampp on macos. So have everything ready (I think) and I can run index.html or index.php on my local(xampp/htdocs/htmlpage/index.html and xampp/htdocs/phppage/index.php). however, when I try to run wondercms, i have this "500 localhost is currently unable to handle this request" feedback, so i change the file permission. wondercms(755), themes (755) and index.php(644) follow by https://github.com/WonderCMS/wondercms/ ... rver-error.

But i got same erroe still. Can someone give some direction I can work on, big thanks.

- PHP Version 8.2.0

I change ServerName from www.example.com:443 to localhost followed by your previous post.

and restart the apache server and still 500 error message. I checked the error log and it seems the same(kinda confused here).so i check the php_error_log for xampp.
and I found this:

The first issue seems to be fixed. The second issues seems to be the fact that the data folder cannot be created.

index.php should have 644 that is correct.

What happens if you manually create the data folder (on the same level as index.php and try revisiting your website?

I doubt that will fix it however it’s worth a try.
Based on the error messages it seems that the user that is trying to execute PHP does not have proper permissions.

I got fixed this issue by giving 777 permission for wondercms, index.php and themes. since I found the permssion issue still exist in the php_error_log. Since it's local env I guess 777 is fine for now.

So I still open for a better solution But I do have a few questions here, so please help and I may able to make a tutoiral video later on for run wondercms on local by xampp(planned).

1. I noticed one of requirement for run wondercms is that i should have cURL extension,mbstring extension and ZIP extension installed, since I'm using XAMPP to hold on local env, not sure where can I find these extension on xampp or do I even have to? I found cURL and zip entension on this folder (/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/bin/) but not mbstring. kinda confused here.

No problem, glad this is slowly getting figured out.

1. not completely sure. Did you restart the xampp server after any of the changes? That's the most I could find by searching for this prefork notice.
2. Regarding these extensions, they are required to make WonderCMS run normally (checking for updates, installing themes/plugins).
- For XAMPP, I believe this is mostly editing the php.ini file:

If any of these don't work, I would also suggest checking Google for terms like "enable xzy" on xampp.

I can't imagine WonderCMS works for you without these?
