How to update a language pack

Post by eagleman »

Hello
I have already tested wondercms 3.5.0 on my test website and it works good, but unfortunately it has some missing strings into the language pack.
Now I'll test the new 3.6.0 soon and surely there are a lot of new strings to add.
Now my question is: where is possible to find all the added/modified strings?
Let me know.

Hi eagleman

The easiest way would be to:
- activate any translation plugin from a language you understand
- see what is missing (not translated in the UI)
- and add the missing strings + translations

Hello, it's ok, but there are a lot of strings to add and I would like to know how to add them without messing out all the language files.
Here are a complete demonstration of all remaining english strings.
I think I have completely found them all, but you can submit any other missing strings in your language.

Hi eagleman,

for Security tab, you could copy and paste into your csv file and change to your language. I would add them one at a time and check if they are already present in the csv file. I couldn't find a solution for modal-popup notifications (red, green, blue).

MODIFIED SECURITY TAB
">Admin login URL","> Admin Login URL Section"
"Important: save your login URL to log in to your website next time:","Important: login URL message"

">Site language config",">Language Section"
"HTML lang value for admin.","HTML lang admin message"
"HTML lang value for visitors.","HTML lang visitors message"

">Password","> Password settings Section"
"Old password","Old Password field"
"New password","New Password field"
"Repeat new password","Repeat new Password field"
"> Change password","> Change Password button"

">Backup","> Backup section"
"> Backup website","> Backup your website"
"> How to restore backup","> Restore backup article"

"Modal persistence","Persistance message"
"If this is turned ""ON"", this currently opened modal window will re-open to the same tab you last made changes to.","Modal re-open message"

"Save confirmation popup", "Confirmation popup message"
"If this is turned ""ON"", WonderCMS will always ask you to confirm any changes you make.","Confirm changes message"

"Login redirect","Redirect Message"
"If this is set to ""ON"", when logging out, you will be redirected to the login page. If set to ""OFF"", you will be redirected to the last viewed page.","Confirm one option message"

"Force HTTPS","HTTPS message"
"WonderCMS automatically checks for SSL, this will force to always use HTTPS.","SSL check message"
"> Read more before enabling","> Read more before enabling article"

">ON",">Active"
">OFF",">Inactive"
">Selected",">Checked"

">Last 5 logins","> Last 5 logins message"

- Not visible inside security tab strings
">Improved security \(Apache only\)","> Improved security \(Apache Server only\) MESSAGE"
">HTTPS redirect, 30 day caching, iframes allowed only from same origin, mime type sniffing prevention, stricter cookie and refferer policy.","> Message: HTTPS redirect, 30 day caching, iframes allowed only from same origin, mime type sniffing prevention, stricter cookie and refferer policy MESSAGE"

Also check your "Missing strings part 1" screenshot, maybe blur https:// in orange color too.

Thanks. I forgot to blur it. I'll make it as soon as possible.
