Summernote Editor Lite plugin

Post by c0mp0ser »

I've been working on the Summernote Editor Lite plugin - that is, Summernote Editor WITHOUT Bootstrap - for some time now.

The plugin is available here: https://github.com/pawell0/summernote-editor-lite

Is anyone interested in helping me improve it?

Current problems:

1. After installing the plugin, in the Wonder CMS Settings panel you can only click once on the tab at the top. After that, the tabs stop responding and a page reload in the browser is required.

Any comments, questions, insights are welcome. 👍😉

What's new?

A new version of the Summernote Editor Lite plug-in (1.0.5) has been released. The plugin does not use Bootstrap and does not call jQuery. To work properly, it requires prior installation of Additional Contents or Additional Contents Lite plugins. Because they call jQuery, which the editor also requires. I assumed that everyone would want to use Additional Contents or Additional Contents Lite, because they are very useful tools. I can't imagine editing the content in Wonder CMS without them.

I was forced to pay to track down code in the Summernote Editor Lite plugin that was causing the TABs in the Wonder CMS Settings panel to not work correctly. Code that was included in the original Summernote Editor (not Lite) and which, as it turned out, I had in front of me all the time. Nevertheless, all went well. Summernote Editor Lite works. Feel free to test it. I already have it in three separate CMS installations and it works fine everywhere. And the CMS loads much faster when editing. Link to the Summernote Editor Lite is in the initial post. Questions and comments are welcome. 👍
