Re: problem with linux
road kill, in case you moved/copied the whole CMS to a local directory on your Ubuntu machine to run from a local webserver, you will probably have to correct some permissions because the /files/ folder is writable for you, but not for the webserver (usually user 'www'). The easiest way to make it w...

Re: Solving special characters "false" error.
Hello rob, I also just started with some testing on our test install. And I can reproduce one of these "false" errors. I took Chinese text from this site: http://www.google.cn/intl/zh-CN/privacy/ Pasting only Chinese characters is not a problem. But as soon as certain punctuation signs are...

Re: Trouble with some HTML entities
From what I have tested so far, it appears to work nicely. :) What a treat, thank you! But, as a thought: wouldn't it still be preferable that HTML entity markup (like „ä“ or „ä“ or „ä“, which all result in „ä“) will not be converted to their plain text form in the first...

Re: Solving special characters "false" error.
NOTE: This still doesn't fix Chinese, Japanese and Slovenian characters (on some servers). Although some users successfully used Greek, Hebrew and Arab characters without any problems. I still suspect these issues might be somehow caused by the way the OSes or the browsers handle special characters...

Internet Explorer „stealing“ line breaks when editing
In today's tests (see other thread ) I noticed, that Internet Explorer 8 apparently „steals“ line breaks whenever editing a page for the second time: After the first edit (with all the line breaks still being displayed correctly in the edit box), the line breaks are also shown correctly on the page....

Simple undo functionality?
Hello rob, when I tested right-to-left text in your WonderCMS demo just now (results in 'false' as only page content, I assume that's the same issue yest was talking about ), I accidentally overwrote your 'HOME' page with 'false' and the simple instructions there were lost. I actually had to ...

Re: Trouble with some HTML entities
Hello rob, sorry for this late reply. Somehow I didn't get notified of the replies, and in all the fuzz I have these days I totally forgot about these threads... As far as I understand, special characters did not work on either of those servers? Correct, both servers seem to behave equally when it c...

Re: Foreign language support
This is so weird. On both my servers right-to-left writing systems work fine ( but I have similar issues with latin characters with diacritics ). I just tried with Arabic and Hebrew. In my tests, only the very last punctuation mark on the page is being displayed before the line (right hand) instead ...

Re: Trouble with some HTML entities
Hello rob, sorry for the delay, I was kinda offline over the weekend. :) As I cannot send you a PM (too new a user, it says...), I'll attach the PHP info files here, they're in the attached ZIP file, but completely anonymized: „phpinfo_webhoster.html“ is the PHP info file from my webhoster's server....
